The fourth summer school in IMBER´s ClimEco
(Climate and Marine Ecosystems) series will be held at the East China Normal
University in Shanghai, China from 4-9 August 2014.
The theme is Delineating the issues of climate change and impacts to marine
ecosystems: Bridging the gap between research, assessment, policy and
management.
The focus will be on indicators for evaluating marine ecosystems, including
what they are, how to select them (for process/observation scientists), how
they are used (for modellers from natural and social sciences), and combined to
inform policy and decision-making.
Numbers are limited to 60 participants to ensure optimal participant-lecturer
interactions, interactive practical sessions and group projects. Bring your own
data for the daily "hands-on" sessions!
