Mountain Days

Meeting Objectives

The Swiss-Austrian Mountain Days are a departure point for:

• exchanging information on ongoing and planned research activities in Switzerland and Austria;
• fostering existing and stimulating new research partnerships;
• designing and developing thematic crossborder research networks;
• developing research priorities and strategies in concert with existing research agendas;
• identifying emerging themes for mountain research to champion at national, Alpine and European level (e.g. Horizon 2020);
• outlining CH-AT Alliance activities for the next 4 years;
• exploring new funding opportunities and instruments for CH-AT mountain research.

Participants

The Mountain Days 2013 address mountain researchers working in Switzerland and/or Austria, including early-career scientists, to share their visions and experience.

Representatives from policy and practice, and other end-users of scientific information, are invited to enter the dialogue.
