Deltas in Times of Climate Change

29 September - 1 October 2010

The aim is to exchange up-to-date top science on climate change and delta planning and to strengthen international cooperation by building networks and strengthening the links between science, policy and practitioners to foster innovations.

Researchers will exchange the latest scientific insights on topics such as flood risk management, salt water intrusion, fresh water supply, climate in urban areas, health, governance, and economics.  In addition, policy makers, senior political officials, the business community and practitioners will discuss subjects such as international cooperation and financing mechanisms for adaptation. 

CIRCLE2 will have a morning session, on Thursday (30/9) with some presentations (9.30-11.15) and a brainstorm (11.15-12.30) on the possibility of launch a call about the topic adressed on this conference (See flyer).
